Arsenal's manager feels assured that his squad can keep managing with injury setbacks after confirming that forward Kai Havertz remains out for a few more weeks.

Extended Absence for Havertz

Havertz has been out since the summer after undergoing an operation on his knee. Initially expected to come back sooner, Arteta revealed the player faced a hurdle when increasing his rehabilitation and failed to reach “to the next level.”

“We learned, and we were able to put together a team that is considerably steadier and has increased versatility,” Arteta said.

Speaking about the complication previously mentioned by national team coach Julian Nagelsmann, Arteta provided further detail. “He was doing everything. He was unable to progress to the subsequent stage and now it appears like we have solved that issue.”

He shared his personal desire to have him back. “Everyone is eager to have him. Honestly, it’s a player that, in my view, I love so much for the qualities he offers to the team, but his character, his attitude. I observe his frustration being outside.”
