Netflix Chooses Ideal Star for Bentham in One Piece Third Season
The Secret Organization is geared up to make a major impact in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, although the major clash won’t unfold until the next season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has just been cast.
The platform declared recently that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Mr. 2. The role can use their power to transform into an exact copy of any individual they’ve touched with their right hand. The actor, who is non-binary and goes by they/them, will portray a version of that figure reimagined as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag performer, in the live-action show, unlike the source material and cartoon version.
This performer joins a number of new cast members set to bring the organization to the screen, including chief the main antagonist, played by Joe Manganiello, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who will appear as the cast as the ruler of the desert kingdom.
Even though the role is a major member of Baroque Works, the individual won’t make their debut One Piece the third season. With the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden arc, this signals a notable change in the timing of the character’s debut, one that could signal additional alterations to the plot development.
Their mix of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a perfect fit for the character. Along with their latest vocal work in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and several accolades for creating and performing in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, showcasing the range they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s most celebrated characters.
The platform’s adapted One Piece program is due to premiere for its second season on March 10, 2026.
