Your Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Astrological Sign

This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm within the community. Starting with the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the title's launch, to trainers developing firm opinions on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one idea came to mind: How can link this with astrology? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for Aries, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why Aries far more akin to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of both and benefit from a strong partner; if you cross them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Similar to a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, whether in its regular and Super Form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are also Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position to the end. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of treats. Many past Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it uses its horn to collect it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Look at this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the life of any gathering, offering an endless fountain of gossip to those who wish to listen. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their tales. Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s future actions, which seems quite like a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

Cancer is widely considered as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently becoming wrapped up in their emotions. According to the official info, Super Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer crash-out. This Pokémon is also recognized for its capability to create a thundercloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Well, did you think I was going to pick the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be much too obvious, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being too glamorous (or terrifying, based on your taste). Fans were captivated from the purple sea star, and that’s exactly the identical energy a Lion offers to the scene. Starmie is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly reflected throughout this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a always shocked expression like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Virgo posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely appreciate Super Audino's abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them worry even more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through pure resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a performance. As a Sagittarius myself, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful small entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That gives the identical energy as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently think they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the beginning of the Mega trend.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire placement that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being chaotic partners in crime. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s overall intimidating presence is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
